I had a lot of fun doing blog posts this year! I would really appreciate having like a free verse blog where you can just write whatever you want and whatever is on your mind. It would really loosen the barrier of having to write a certain topic and Mrs. Hunt can read what’s on everyones mind. The blogs should be continued for next year because it’s a great experience to have in highschool since you might need to make a blog later in life. It was a great experience to do these blogs and I hope my teacher next year wil require us to do blogs. I had a great year! Bye Mrs. Hunt!!

Teachers should stop bullying by watching the hallways more often. I see a lot of teachers just chilling in their classroom when they could be out in the hallway and being more cautious about bullying.Parents should stop bullying by raising their kids better. Not saying that adults don’t raise their kids well, but in the perfect household, a child will learn to be more nice and not offend others in any way. Bullying is a part of life and there isn’t much to do about it even for kids. Schools influence the no drug policy, but still 50% of the school take part in activites such as this. Health class is mainly used to tell students that drugs and drinking are bad, but I bet there isn’t a single student that was already into drugs stopped due to taking health class. Even if there was a class all about bullying and saying that it is wrong, nobody will care and forget about the class the next semester. Bullying will always be there and you cannot stop it because not everyone will listen. You can prevent bullies from doing their “activities,” but stopping bullying and bullies is just like stopping violence which is virtually impossible.
I will never forget the good times I have with my friends. My parents haven’t forgotten all of their memories with friends, but since they don’t talk with most of their high-school friends, they probably forgot the fun times they had together. My dad has a lot of friends from high-school he still talks to, but he doesn’t remember all of the good memories he had with them when he was my age. Since I’m still young and have a lot of friends, I have many good memories and fun times I had with them so I will remember them till I die.
Rather than being limited to only teaching a lesson, I would like to have the right to teach a class. The name of the class would be something like “Life.” What you would learn in this class will reflect what you actually will encounter during your life. No offense to teachers, but some lectures are better left in the books where people can choose to read instead of having the “You must learn this” approach. Many will agree that a lot of the things we learn in school aren’t really necessary, but are taught anyway. No student will have that idea when taking Life.
When students are looking for electives and thinking what class will help their future career, some people have trouble finding what they would like to be. Life isn’t a class that’s set on helping a career, but teaching everyone what they would actually need in life. This could vary to things such as changing a tire, self-defense, jumping a car, basic cooking skills, and how to manage money. This would be a fun class and get a lot of students because most of the activities are hands-on and hardly any worksheets/quizzes/tests.
I personally have trouble when I have to write Bob and me, and Bob and I. Someone told me if i remove the Bob and say the sentence and it makes sense, use I. I’ve tried that, but it never seemed to work for me. I would sometimes, but there were times where it never made sense and I felt dumb saying the sentence the wrong way. I also dislike the words lie and lay. My teachers always gave us practice to know when to use those words without getting them mixed up, but I eventually forget and get scolded for using one of the words wrong. I don’t really have any strategies for knowing when and how to use these words, but I’m sure I’ll learn them soon!
Steve Jobs would make a very good assistant for me. He’s very wealthy and knows much about the computer. I’m interested in things about the computer so he would be able to help me learn all about computer engineering. I would have Steve make a super computer that runs on water. Doing this will save a lot of electricity and money for others that can’t keep up with their electricity bills. It would also bring in a lot of money to the apple industry so that there’s more money to donate to charities.
